I'm almost positive this was written right after her father died, and so it's about him. note the "not for a fuck or a kiss" bit.
and also, "all the babies tucked away in their beds..." bit is like how while other people are still sheltered and have their parents, she doesn't have that protection anymore, and is left out in the cold screaming. |

I love this song and strawberry swing. Actually I love all of the songs, just those two in particular. At first I was sort of let down by VLV because it wasn't what I expected it would be, but I think after listening to it a couple of times, it outdoes any of their previous albums. |

and I think that these lyrics are about someone he only met once or twice, but he still thinks of them, even if the meeting seemed trivial. |
