| I was told the same by my dad who played bass in Love Brother Nine. Luckily for us it's the modern age and I have Mark on Facebook. Maybe he can shed some light on the subject. | |

From the Music Bank Liner Notes: The song is us against the world, those people who a put you down: “I put up with many years of you putting us down and watching us bleed, now I'd like to see you bleed some back.” |

You guys really don't understand why it was called Frogs. The title meaning is WAAAAYYY less deep than the lyrics themselves. Listen REALLY hard. What do you hear in the background? FROGS! This quote is from the liner notes from Music Bank: ""We went to demo some stuff at this place called Bear Creek," said Cantrell. "By the lake there were these really cool, loud fucking frogs, so we put the mic outside and recorded them. It cost us $10,000 for the week, we got nothing out of it other than those frogs, so we made sure that when we recorded the song we got those frogs in there."" I honestly believe there was more going on in Layne's mind than what he lead people to believe by saying that the lyrics had no real deep meaning, especially to that of both Frogs and Head Creeps. |
