One of my favorite (and genius) aspects of Daniel's music-writing are his frequent plays-on-words.
Miss you love=Misuse love.
I really like that he wrote an anti-love song that at first listen, sounds like a love song. He's brilliant- and I especially love all their new stuff.

All these comments about anti-depressants really illuminated the song for me. I just recently started to really like this song. It has such a beautiful poignancy to it.
I think the paint pastel princess is just the fake shell of a person without an authentic "self" or real emotions. That is what the anti-depressents left him with. Sure he looked a lot better on the outside, but under that pretty paint there wasn't much going on inside. And yet he could sense how sad that was. |
