I've liked this song for the longest time, but I never really knew what it meant. The only part I understood was the first three lines... But now I THINK I know what it means. It's about having a girlfriend/boyfriend or being obsessed with someone for too long and it's really painful, then meeting someone else for the first time but likes them a lot already, but the previous relationship or whatever keeps him from getting somewhere with this someone else. Either he denies to himself that he likes that someone or he's to scarred from the past that he doesn't know what to do. Then the bridge and the chorus is the person talking to himself. "You have suffered enough, it's time that you've won..", "We've still got time", "You have a choice".. Like the person's convincing himself to just go for it, before time runs out. I THIIINK it's what it means, or at least that's what it means to me. |
