This song is actually brilliant and it really sets life out and makes it clearer. I think its about the main person who is quite confused about life. He then meets two people who are basically on different ends of the spectrum in life. One is basically a nobody but yet he struggles to make ends meet and keeps a smile on his face because of the saying, which is the chorus. The second is a somebody who is rather big in life and everyone knows, basically he lives the high life, but he always gets down when he is reminded about the saying (the chorus). Both people, who the main person meets, comment that he is neither too big or too small and so he should keep it that way because that is how life looks best at, neutral. The chorus is basically saying that "You may be one person but you can still help but don't become big headed about it" |

I agree with RiotAngel The music video story doesn't really go with the lyrics though. Its about an amazing pool player who always wins and Vince who is an amazing Pinball player. Basically the pool player looses a game and also looses his fans and the fans move to Vince who gets the top score for the pinball. I was in the music video... it was amazing. =] |

so this song is in the perspective of a friend of Adam. Adam sleeps with this girl called Mary and he gets around y'see. But this time things are different. He actually falls in love with her and she does with him. Adam can't take the fact that he is in love because he prefers the swingers life. He then leaves for a reason like a new job etc but doesn't tell Mary. So the friend who knows whats going on, can't take it anymore and just tells Mary at the movies which is where Adam and Mary were meant to have a date. |

I think it is about best friends who have been tight since young and they know each other inside out. The guy finds a girl who is basically perfect for him and the best friend actually is in love with the guy but he doesn't know. She then tries to get into other relationships to find the perfect person like he has done but instead she gets hurt so many times. The guy bestfriend knows that shes unhapy and spends time with her to comfort her but the guy's partner thinks that something is happening between and the girl knows that she feels that way so the girl just tells the bestfriend not to care about her because he has found the perfect person and he should stick with her and not to waste time on her. The girl also wants to get away from the best friend so that she doesn't break up his perfect relationship. |

| I think it is someone who has a drink and drug problem, or some sort of addictive problem, that is so bad that he/she has spent all his/her money on it. So this person has to live out on the streets and is so unhappy about it all that spends the rest of the cash on the addictive stuff which really messes the person up because the person is in such an unhappy place in his/her head and suddenly gets to a state of mind that he/she believes that no one has got to which is a really "i don't care about anything anymore" state of mind. The person looks at whats happening around and realises how beautiful everything is but nobody really takes notice and takes everything for granted. The person then believes that this world is ugly and so really just wants to die and find a place which is much more caring etc. | |

I think its about this girl who can't take it that her partner keeps cheating on her and she knows it but not too sure if he knows that she knows. So this one last time she can't take it anymore and poisons him. But since she was SO angry with him and becomes drowsy in this anger, she puts too much and kills him when she actually just wanted to make him really sick. Only after she has killed him then she realises what she has really done. She then tried to make up an alibi to cover up it all. Even though she may feel guilty she feels relieved that she got back at him. |
