| The Hoodies – A Year To the Day Lyrics | 17 years ago |

I freaking ADORE this song. My absolute favorite by The Hoodies. I agree with cucci67 on the meaning. Classic guy and girl break up, guy wants girl back, but he cares about her enough to just want her to forget the pain he might have caused her. Only, I think this song spins that tale in a very poignant way. This song is just so...beautiful. "Keep this for your scrap book of memories, take it out and remember me someday, and know I’ve never changed. " and "Surprise, surprise I’m still alive Your birthday wishes all just died. You closed your eyes blew out the candles, Prayed to God that I’d be strangled, Anything to never hear me again." Those parts almost made me cry, no ioke. I dunno, I just adore this song :] |

I love Wicked, especially this song :]. I think it really sets the tone, and reveals the shallowess of the whole society. I can't believe there aren't more comments... |

| Paramore – We Are Broken Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| essencesthree- I agree with you completely. I think it was written for TWLOHA, considering the shirt To Write Love shirt that is being sold that has the lyrics to this song on the inside. I persoannly think that the song's about drugs and going to Christ to solve your problems. That's reinforced by the To Write Love On Her Arms fact, because the orginization has religious faith at its deepest core. Sorry if that's offensive to anybody, but that's just my take. And, after all, Paramore does seem to do alot of faith songs... | |
