this is probably completely off, but for some really odd reason i get the vision of somebody running away from home on a dirt road with a little bag with whatever they could fit in it. and there's not really a reference to that anywhere in the song, so don't ask me where it came from. it's just what i think of, lol.

i'm usually a sucker for acoustic music, but i like the non-acoustic version of this song much better. although i love this song either way.. and i don't really know what it's about, but i'm not going to read what other people think it's about because i think that there's some things we shouldn't know and this is one of them for me. i just think i think the mystery of the song is one reason why i love it so much.

i agree with cileskot as well. i love the intro to this song and the image of being caught by a river is one that i'd never thought of before hearing this song, and i love it.. even though i'm not exactly sure what it means. |

this was the first butch walker song i ever heard, an old boyfriend introduced me to him. after hearing this one song i became hooked, and soon had every single song of his on my computer.. and still do. for some reason i like his old stuff much better, but he will always remain to be one of my very favorite artists. and this being one of my very favorite songs of his =) |
