Easy, this is a song that is so heart felt and, well, purely emotional. It is about a man that truly loves the one he is with, but knows he can't give her the love and life she deserves (The road ahead is lined with broken dreams, So walk, walk on by). He wants her to be happy and can't provide that for her (For love I left your side). And this realization brings him so much pain, it makes him wish for death (Tonight I lack the strength to even move, When you walked, now watch me die). On top of this he knows without her he is nothing, but with her he feels just as bad, because he can't make here feel the way she deserves (When I can’t feel you, I’m not alright, I’m not alright, When I can’t heal you, I’m not alright, I’m not alright). I love this song, I am glad I saw the movie "Death Wish" and heard this song. In my life there has been nothing that has touched me like this, all I can say is "tears". |
