| wow someone recommended this band to me a while ago and i only listened to "Sing" which is a good song but these lyrics are awesome. she (or whoever wrote this) has a really great mind and a clever way with words. this is blunt but still obscure so the masses won't understand it it's something that needs to be digested and dissected. interesting and powerful i like it | |

AHH! this is the kind of wonderful song that leaves a bitter laugh in your mouth. when i first read the lyrics i couldn't stop laughing i'm like "YES! THE FUCKING FOOLS!" Soak it in dirt and wash it off You wear my mask, does that make you GOD? such good lines. he's saying wither around in my filth the pain and blood and just rinse it all away the people who awe him and basically WORSHIP him he's taking a fucking shot at himself! saying he wears a mask (like a stage persona) and if you put it on are you any different? No he's just a person too. "you won't become SID tomorrow" Sid mother fucking vicious and he's stage antics (how often they are compared to Kyo's but AREN'T!!!) Yeah he cut his chest with glass and burn himself with cigarettes. Kyo fish-hooks his mouth and cuts open his chest. you won't become that overnight. it's not something easily mimicked. and if it is you look like a fucking idoit like SID and not someone who knows the meaning like Kyo. God sometimes Kyo is just too brillant. |

gaaragirl13ness your imagination is awesome. reading what you thought of, the ship and all, was a calming thought (although the song mentions the sea) i never visualized a ship. i've decided this is the song i want to play at my funernal. this or the #9 track on Marrow of the Bone CD (i can't spell that for the life of me lol) I've never really been close to anyone who's died but the lines "You are weak, but stay as you are what voice what words will you use to speak to me?" I FELT that. The desparation and the knowledge that there is nothing you can do. They can't hear anything you say but the beautiful, flowing thought, of trying to. "So the life cannot be saved, feel life. Even if just for this moment please live." Another one that is just so...clawing! Words that just echo and disappear but so necassary.These are the type of lyrics that you can't form in your mind, these are the kind like Mushi, Zakuro (the classic of classics) that flow from the heart, practically BLEED out of it. That is the perfect way of saying I miss you and why? |

"these sinful feelings can't destroy the hourglass" this line is so wickedly inviting. even if we are wrong and tainting eachother,we are young, it's not the end of it. underlining is a sense of desparation. as if saying "please let's continue it's not going to kill us" the story of a passion gone dead but the want of passion of love. Loving for the sake of loving. "become a flower, prick me with the poison thorn" a flower is a delicate beautiful thing, he wants tainted with that danger he wants to be infected. "we won't need words to seek the night together" if there are no words there is no chance of breaking anything. it's walking on thin ice, they (he) don't want to ruin what they already know is coming to an end. |

| I don't think this song focus on the "anoymous" love as much as his dream. He's saying that even though he is living his dream, his not in the moment. he's still not himself, his "true" self. When it all crashes and falls down will he find his real self? the blood mixing with the tears. in the beginning he didn't harm himself, he used fake blood, but now he sees the importance of it all. this "new" dream is coming to life in his tears and blood and he'll sing till he finds the answer. | |

in reading these comments I've seen the greatest examples of a typical mind. Mentioned earlier was the fact that Kyo grew up in a normal home as a normal kid. and? Do you have to grow up in a shitty home to feel pain? Do you have to be raped,molested, or witness violence to even qualify? Pain is universal. That is why this song is important because the very universal statement "My own heart killed me" is something anyone can take (if they break down their own limitations) and make their own. anyone can apply that feeling of hopelessness, pain, and distrust to their life because no one, and i mean NO ONE, is safe-guarded from pain. Although their our different levels, everyone's pain is their own and no one will truely understand it. MY own heart killed ME. no one else's but MINE. As for other meaningless comments such as "i hope you know what this song is REALLY about" No one but Kyo was there when he wrote this song. No one but Kyo will know what he was thinking when he wrote these lyrics. It is an extremely vague song for the purpose of relation. the lines "i can get what i want but the kindness i'm holding onto will slip away" get what? what does he want? what hyprocrites (lies) was he told? we will never know. Don't assume about his life. Make your own interpretations about the lyrics and think,question and apply them. that is what the purpose of his lyrics are. |
