hmm, first to comment. i've only heard of this song cuz of "All My Children", for the past several months it's been played in montages. it's a pretty song, good lyrics, and i really like the singer's voice. i just feel it was totally overplayed during the worst possible storylines of AMC history and wish it hadn't been, cuz it's such a pretty song but sadly i can't listen to it ever again. :( |

yeah, only heard of this song cuz it's the buffalo sabres power play song. it totally gets me psyched up when i listen to it cuz i think of my amazing hockey team. i never really analyzed the lyrics all that carefully but i've read the previous posts and can see the connection made to immigration/starting over in boston. |

oh this song gives me the warm fuzzies everytime i hear it! sam phillip's voice gets me every time and the lyrics are gorgeous, but each time it's on i think of luke and lorelai's first dance, just too damn cute. boy do i miss that show.

MadeForThis, I got the vid on Itunes too, and after I saw the trailer for the movie I wasn't all that into it, but after seeing the vid I have to see the movie. Plus it's just got a great message, one of those uplifting songs that isn't too corny, I'm a huge JM fan but this is easily one of my favorite songs of his. Here's hoping it won't be overplayed. |

this is one of those songs that i can just listen to over and over and not get tired of. i heard it on my soap opera and then on gray's anatomy and fell head over heels for it. the video's amazing too. my favorite lines definitely

yeah, i agree with the other posters here who think this song is just beautiful. it makes tear up every time i hear it. definitely my favorite song of the fray's and i really like this band. i'm so having this played at my wedding someday. :) |
