The Beatles – Run for Your Life Lyrics 12 years ago
"""Lennon, jealous by nature, eventually grew possessive and often terrified (Cynthia) Powell with his anger and physical violence. Lennon later said that until he met Ono, he had never questioned his chauvinistic attitude to women. The Beatles song "Getting Better", he said, told his own story, "I used to be cruel to my woman, and physically—any woman. I was a hitter. I couldn't express myself and I hit. I fought men and I hit women. That is why I am always on about peace"."""

"""Lennon designated this song as his "least favourite Beatles song" in a 1973 interview and later said it was the song he most regretted writing."""

This is the 60s Lennon, then he later (specially with Yoko) changed and started to do some self-deconstruction of himself. He saw that had some jealously issues and he treated women bad and such. Compare this songs with "Jealous Guy" - http://songmeanings.com/songs/view/8675/

Louis Armstrong – La Vie En Rose Lyrics 18 years ago
Mmm I think that "La vie en rose" should be translated as "the life in pink" (yeah, it sounds awful). This is a french expression that is used to describe when you're happy and feel optimistic with life in general. There's also the expression "La vie en noir" which is the opposite: pesimistic, when you're down. As you can see, French language is pure poetry.
