| Shakira – Did It Again Lyrics | 15 years ago |

Like another user said, I think this is definitely about causal sex. Her constant state of finding herself vulnerable to men because they've been seductive and luring and having sex with them all too soon. I think her guard falls too soon and she becomes enthralled by these men very quick and potential seeing a future with them so therefore she gives herself freely(a.k.a has sex). Moreover, what strikes me about the song lyrics is the lines: "How blind a girl can be To miss you hide your ring Thought about everything I'm so naive imagining and all that" I think a deeper meaning on the song talks about a woman having an affair with a married man multiple times. Whether it be the same person or another married lover, she is the other woman and she is constantly falling for these men who she has no business with and that makes the experience regretful and remorseful. Above all else the most heart-wrenching part about the song is the fact she dreams and fantasies a life with that person which won't happen....building her thoughts around marriage, love, relationship which is just merely dreaming. :( |

| this song is her fear of sex monster though in my mind I perceive it as her fear of commitment monster. Just my two-cent | |
| White Lies – Unfinished Business Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I believe this song is about giving a farewell gesture to console the one he loved.Even though he is dead, he wants to spend one more moment with her, to consolidate her, and relive what they had in the past. His unfinished business was about not yet giving a good farewell to his beloved. Moreover, his spirit can't quite move-on since he hasn't completed his farewell even though "there's a light in the distance" waiting for him. | |
| Amy Winehouse – You Know I'm No Good Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I want to say by far that Amy Winehouse is one of the greatest female singer of modern times. Her self-deprivating lyrics leave something to be desired when you listen to it(in a good way). I think in this song she first talks about chasing her boyfriend downstair to underground bar. Her boyfriend is probably mad and ignoring her and she is hurt about that. the boyfriend probably learn about amy's affair with her ex based on clues in the apartment or just inspecting amy. The boyfriend is angry and prepare to fight amy's ex for his and her honor. amy tries to talk him out of it while he lashes out in fury wonder about what else amy and "the ex" did. amy wants to leave the bar with the boyfriend but he refuses to go. the ex that the current boyfriend is waiting for appears in the bar. a bar fight occurs where the ex's entourage/friends joins in. the next stanza shows a "state of rebound",one-night stand, and amy's fallout with her current boyfriend after the bar fight. She's sleeping with the ex but needs to think about the current boyfriend to get off. at the end of "the experience", her cellphone rings and it is the boyfriend. she"runs out" to meet him after sleeping with the ex. the boy wants to continue where they left off and amy's agrees.she cries because she can't be faithful to him and yet he doesn't understand who she is. in the end she is caught in the same place where she was before the bar fight. Unfaithful amy......why? : ) |
