I'm pretty sure its Kate Walsh trying to explain how in the beginning of the affair, she didn't care if he loved her. But as the song progresses, as well as the affair, it turns to how she doesn't care about the girl he's with and how she really does love him and wants to be with him, but he [like she was in the beginning] still doesn't care. It's such a creative song that shows the differences people have and how a person, man or woman, can enter an affair thinking it won't affect their heart, but in the end their heart gets way too involved, unlike their partner. Perfect song, just like life. |

| This is one of my favorites. I completely agree with AlohaRose is that with the name of the song being "Bury My Head" she knows that her boyfriend is being unfaithful and is choosing to just pretend she doesn't know but at the same time doesn't want to "share your fingers through my hair". Kate Walsh is amazing at putting her words in such a way that explains a thousand feelings in just a few lines. | |
