Amy Grant – I Will Remember You Lyrics 18 years ago
My Ex from High school. I actually went to a concert with my youthgroup and he was there (we were in the same youth group) and I had a major crush on him, and he was there with another girl. My heart felt like it was being torn out listening to it and watching him talking with this other girl. Now, we have dated, broken up, stayed friends in a relative term, had one long distance drunk dialed phone call (it was me, I'll admit it) and now I am happy that he is happy with his life.

Mariah Carey – Till The End Of Time Lyrics 18 years ago
My high school love. It said all of it for me. It was the way that I felt, and still in a way do feel for him.

I love this live. And on the stereo. If I had to pick a favorite version, it would be this one, which is strange for me, because I really don't tend to like a lot of remakes.

Lit – Perfect One Lyrics 18 years ago
Strangely enough, this song makes me think of a guy in a different band. I just identified with it so much as for my feelings for the bassist in a similar band that was big at the same time. Makes me feel bittersweet to this day.

Lit – The Best Is Yet To Come Undone Lyrics 18 years ago
The call of the road and the crowd and the music and the power of being in a band. The promises made to you, the reality of what they actually get, the people that they have to leave behind in order to get out on the road, and the things that happen on the road that shouldn't happen but do (wink!), and the hope of something even bigger and better.

Serious Car song. They have a lot.

Lit – Cadillac Lyrics 18 years ago
Just about the boys ( I believe AJ's) love of his Caddy. Pretty self explanatory. They were very much in a "Swingers" (the movie, but possibly more than that, Wink!) lifestyle.

Sugar Ray – High Anxiety Lyrics 18 years ago
It was the life back then. They guys were drunk and stoned most of the time, with an insane lifestyle, and I can see this just being written off the Pardon the choice of word, Fly.

Sugar Ray – Fly (feat. Super Cat) Lyrics 18 years ago
This song means so much to me. It was the reason that I bought the TAPE! LOL. But when I popped it into the tape deck in my car, I heard RPM, and had to take the tape out to make sure I had the right tape. It blew my mind. I actually love the kind of music that is mainly featured on Floored, so it was a pleasure to hear that coming from my speakers. I have EVERYTHING they have put out, and while I prefer the L&B and Floored era, I still love the band, and that may be because I see them live every chance I get, and I see how they are personally evolving into people that they were not back then. They really have grown. And live, they play the old stuff.

Sugar Ray – Speed Home California Lyrics 18 years ago
I know this songs meaning. The band was on a long tour, and just ready to get home. And this song was the outcome of the bus ride home.

Sugar Ray – One Great Cowboy Lyrics 18 years ago
This hidden track made me love this band more than I already did. It shows a bit of calm humor on an otherwise pretty obnoxious (Fantastically obnoxious)album.

I THINK this song is about the girlfriend realizing that the rocker boyfriend isn't as great as she thought he would be and now she is showing her displeasure.

Sugar Ray – Waiting Lyrics 18 years ago
What does this song mean to me? Well, for one, the loneliness and urge to be with the one you miss. The feeling that I get when I go out on the road (no so much now days) to follow a band (Usually SR!) , And three guys sitting at a cabana wearing cop uniforms while singing this acoustic. And I almost hate to say that I like the acoustic version with Stan and Rodney singing it better than Mark.
