i think this song has something to do with being famous... "I've got a thousand faces looking up to me" seems to shout that, and then, "I've got friends in highly low places" think of stars like britney spears; highly low place, huh? im pretty sure FTSK are talking about being famous and going out clubbing, ORRR theyre just talking abuot partying and clubbing, again with the highly low thing. :] |

I'm pretty sure this song is about how other people in the world with different gods and skin colors are suffering, meanwhile we keep our hearts cold, ignoring all who really need us and valuing money most. Of course, by "we" it means Americans. Which is why I like Thrice so much. THey're different from the usual band that preaches about heartbreak and relationships gone wrong, Thrice looks at the universal problems outside their own troubles. I value thieir word and take on society. This song rox ur fuckin sox! peace! |
