| Seems to simply be about a girls he has met on tour; the groupies. He is speaking directly to them saying "we both know this won't last long. " Yet still being captivated by love (sex). Probably happened often on tour so he would label himself a "liar" because if they all keep score of the poon they got, it would be there secret. "we're all choir boys at best." <----the lie. Intrusive and arrogant to further support this. Lord of the flies is a good theory, and he may have thrown a bit of insight to his influences. But lets be honest, what is more likely. A song about someones' literature or an actual feeling of guilt and honesty penned on paper. | |

They are AMZING live. If you are going to see any show see theirs, hell if its your first show see theirs, you will love it. Basically somebody has made them rotten and angry, and he says you don't have to like me or my life, just stay out of it. kind of like that grandmother who nags about you life, your looks, morals, religion, etc. |

| Actually you guys are putting the lyrics a tad harshly. Rather he is pointing out that he can't believe in religion simply because he sees outside the box and views a church goer as a monkey. He is fed a religion but can't find proof that if he follows it he will be 'saved' and says well fuck it i will find salvation in my own way. Also the criticism of religious people not believing he can find god, hes just some punk heavy metal guy whos out of place. | |
