| Atreyu – Blow (feat. Josh Todd) Lyrics

This song is made for all you little bitches bitching about how Atreyu changed their style. Every band grows and either becomes more or less successful. That's just how it goes. You can say they suck now, they used to be so cool, they sold out, they're pathetic, and they would probably just shrug and say sorry. Truth is, it's not your band, it's theirs. So fuckin blow those words out the back of your head, bitch. |

Yikes. This entire album, I hate to say it being I love Avenged Sevenfold as a band, as one of my favorite bands, really really really sucks. This song isn't even dark, the music is pretty crappy and cliche, the lyrics are mostly suck, and lots of the songs on this album sound pretty much the same. I still support A7X and await anxiously to see if they can make it up to me with their next album. |

Perhaps he's referring to his producer? Forcing him into this album, or certain aspects of the album he doesn't like? Or perhaps a force greater than that of a producer. |

I don't know if metaphorize is a word per say, but I can see what SFP is saying, as well as mushroomfat. It could go either way.
Either way, this song rocks, just like most all of these guys music.
I never would have even though about the heroin thing to be honest. But the reference to the spoon definitely makes me hear this song in a different way. |

This song is beautiful. The beginning riff is awesome, and allows for it to build into absolute greatness.
Two people were hung, and they're swaying there in the breeze, their bodies no longer aware of where they are or even that they are existent. But the general feeling of togetherness is their in view by other people.
Is this song partly 5/4? |

And gueveralives, what the hell crawled up your ass? There's no reasonable excuse. People like you help to cause the crap in this world.
This song seems very satirical to me. Almost like a joke. "I'll fuckin' kill your best friend" is just kinda funny.
It doesn't matter what you think the song is. It's been said many times before, 'its what you get out of it'. I just like to try and get into the writer's head, and see what they're thinking.
It's ok to disagree, but it's not ok to be a prick. |

My bad. It starts 6/4 or something, then goes to 4/4, and switches around. I've played weirder in band that's for sure. |

It's not a wierd time signature at all. It's 4/4 is it not? Just has weird accents. |

He's not gay. And I really, really don't think this is a love song.
"It's happening soon...its happening soon..."
If it were about him being gay what would that mean? Unless he was referring to anal sex. But seriously, and it's been explained multiple times what fillip can mean.
It's about something unexpected happening, whether it's something major (appocalypse, ice age, George W. Bush getting shot in the face) or minor I don't know. I don't feel like really analyzing this song. It sounds too filler to me. |

I've seen a lot of people say 'Matt doesn't have any children.' How do you know? He's a fricken rockstar. What you should say is 'he doesn't have any children that he knows of, pays attention to, or cares about.'
About the song: This is one of the few Muse songs that strikes me as a sort of love song. So I dunno. |

"You will never miss...But I can" Is probably one of the most powerful things Matt has written. At least to me. This song makes me want to thrash. |

I was driving with a friend and we were listening to Muse through an FM transmitter before it started to get all staticful. Then we switched it to this song, and the way the static from the radio fit in with the odd percussion was almost too scary to handle.
We were also high, but still. It scared us. |

Perhaps its about somebody who's delusional...and thinks this other person loves them and is just so sure about it when in fact their feelings are completely neutral.
That's always the vibe I got from it anyway, because the song never confirms that this person has the emotions...just that he 'knows' that this person loves him.
But who knows what the crap this guy thinks about. |

I don't know. Wanting God too much could probably mean a number of different things. It makes sense to me, because I started out as a Christian, but I've fallen out of it.
'Like a broken damm you're empty and all thats left are the sticks and stones that were built by other people.'
Seems a reference to the way God has been built up more by people than by God itself. And references to being too old to feel an earthquake and too cool to even care. It all points towards god to me. |

It actually makes sense when you look at it from a kind of...far away perspective. I can totally see that communism thing though. But taken at face value, it means what it says. It turns me on when he says niggaz. |

| Mindless Self Indulgence – You'll Rebel to Anything (As Long as It's Not Challenging) Lyrics

A lot of the songs on his albums show that he's pissed at kids for liking some of this stuff. He makes references to how it takes him a few minutes to write some of the shit he writes, and he's a bit pissed at how easily it gets eaten up. The name of this song gives it away. Becoming unaccepted to be accepted. Get over it, move on. I don't know Mr. Urine enough to know what type of people he hates. On a side note, it's pretty immature to say that emos and goths suck and all that stuff. We all feel sorry for ourselves and do things to be noticed, and if you deny it you're very likely lying. =) |

Sounds like the way I felt when I started doing drugs. I WAS a goody two shoes, christian kid. I started doin some drugs. Then I kinda started to feel more badass. It went away after a while, but yeah. It's what it means to me anyway...and that's what matters. |
