im really surprised there are no comments on this song, i think its great. as for what it means to me well prob not what it means to anyone else but lyrics are usually subjective anyway. to me, so much has happened that you want to share and tell everything thats going on with someone so you can understand it but you know it cant be understood so you have to keep it secret, but you still hope something will tell you the sense in everything. and the person this song is singing to, is going through all of these hardships and you cant do anything to stop it, and the person is slipping away from you. your friend is beginning to let it all go, life in general, but you are trying to convince her she cant do that. she wishes she could make her friend be okay. sorry that was a lot lol. |

out of all his songs ive heard, this one speaks to me the most. its one of those few songs in this world that almost makes me cry, not going to lie =P to me, he sees one of his friends suffering through something hard and hes trying to remind his friend that it really is all going to be okay because overall, this life IS good. and if things didnt turn around eventually, well, this world just wouldnt have a point. and this world DOES have a point. |

i loveeeeeeeeeeee this song. to me, its about being forced of letting go of things, and also becoming older, with an older mindset along with it. i remember listening to this song at graduation and being all sad, and now that its been some time and friendships did fade like i feared, this song actually lets me accept it. as for having to say goodbye to a young mindset...i dont know if i will ever do that!
