if any of you saw his interview with AP magazine, or a blog on myspace that he posted a long time ago, he had gone through a really rough patch in his life while recording 'hello, good friend'. it got to the point of hearing voices telling him to commit suicide and his life was basically falling apart at the time. obviously. he pulled through it but his experiences are what inspired the album, which he wrote while staying (for the most part) alone in a single apartment. im pretty sure it was the december 07 addition of AP and the heres the link to the blog if youre interested http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=3099109&blogID=145584821&Mytoken=3EEE5CDE-45FD-4184-BD0B024960F25A0560018488 they go over the same basis, but have different details |

if you look in the booklet, it is "and how at first it's made so pure and lovely, but in battle can be torn to shreds" there are a few little mistakes, but the one is bothering me. its "LIKE cigarette smoke, im starting to choke on this" there seriously are no words for how i feel about bryce's talent, he is simply amazing. if you ever get the chance, i highly recomend seeing him perform live, there seriously is nothing that compares, and it leaves you in such an amazing emotional state for a long time, i seriously call it a 'trs high' after seeing him live, its unexplainable. |
