ladypyramidhead, Penguincubus is right, what you've written there is pretetious, there are plenty of other really big thom yorke fans here so don't go putting others down!!
That said, your interpretation may well be right, i'd forgotten about that deleted verse and listening to the early version the abortion story seems to fit well. If that was indeed the case I can see why the verse was pulled, for fear of people reading questioning why the song was written and any personal meaning behind it.
As with so many other radiohead songs, I'd always be careful when taking lyrics in a literal sense, perhaps Thom did have a gf who aborted, but i think it's more likely that it's an emotion / subject he feels strongly about and does not relate to a personal event neccesarily. |

Perhaps the lyrics allow a few different interpretations but for me it's pretty clear. It's about someone (who has some relationship with a girl- not a stalker) who has completely fallen in love, to a point of them needing to see them / follow them everywhere, and the feeling isn't neccesarily reciprocated to the same extent, hence he questions wh heis in the relationship in the first place "you are a fool
For sticking round," but can't / doesnt want to do anything about it, hence the rather trapped feeling lyrics towards the end. |

Perhaps this song is also a hint that this is radiohead's last album? Until recently the tracks on In Rainbows were never intended for album release and said they were unsure whether another album release would be on the cards. |
