legolass; did you seriously think that was doherty singing with a fake jamaican accent? it sounds nothing like him. =/ in an interview i watched on youtube with pete /and/ the guy who wrote the lyrics to this song, pete said he heard him singing it in his jail cell and that's how they met. he just put music to the words~ (though i guess he might have just been making shit up. regardless, i know it's not him doing the jamaican accented vocals.) ---- i think all you guys should try opening your minds a little. i am happy with the "down in albion" album, i think maybe it's a little more experimental than the libertines were. though i know it's considered blasphemy to like them better than the libs, i honestly listen to this album more than theirs. |
