| Flogging Molly – Far Away Boys Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Yea the Transcontinental is right on. That's why "not a tree was in sight" There aren't any trees out in the western deserts. Definitely in America, not England. These railroad workers, and most Irish immigrant workers of the 19th century would leave ireland alone, hoping to find work so as to provide for their families back in Ireland. This really illustrates the troubles of the first generations of Irish in America. Meager wage, derogitory insults, loneliness, and exile. | |
| Dropkick Murphys – Fairmount Hill Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I love this song, I'm living in Colorado unfortunately, far away from my home, and friends and family in New England. There are so many mornings i wake up in the same way as the singer. It's a a homesick song.. | |

I think it's definately about a bad trip. haunting faces, and moving lines slumber party for tonight I interpret this part as: I had a close brush with my destiny I think its a freakout, and he's breaking down because he thinks he's going to die. The whole sound of the song reminds me of how I've felt when I'm on a bad trip. Anyway, that's what I think this is about. |

| State Radio – Keepsake Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| It's all the things that we must do in life. Sometimes we have to get up, sometimes we have to stop. Sometimes we want to be warmer, and sometimes we need to cool down. Its pretty much all of our instincts and desires; our soul and mind getting us through good times and bad. | |

| I think it's about all the little thinks that help us and hurt us in life, and how we keep all of those things and people in our heads and in our hearts. He's also talking about moderation, equal opposites, and how pain and pleasure can come together. He is also talking about how we share our worlds, our little things, our souls with others | |

Is there room for one more sun I think he means, THE son. I think he's asking for some return of the messiah or something, someone who can redeem him. Someone who can help him become a better person. I also think the song's narrarater has hurt someone. He may be in the army, but not wanting to be a soldier anymore, and feels guilt for people he has hurt. those are my thoughts anyway. I'm not christian or anything- the soldier of God thing might me there too- Jesus is sometimes portrayed as an old general. He could be saying that he does not feel that he is righteous enough to live up to the standard that God asks of a human. |
