This is so my song. [i work on an ambulance] "my world goes black before i feel an angel lift me up and i open bloodshot eyes into fluorescent white" --lifting up the guy & shining all our bright lights on him "now i lay here owing my life to a stranger and i realize that empty words are not enough" -- most of the time, the victim doesn't know anyone [let alone me or my crew] & most of the time, if its a really bad wreak, they're in shock. in other words, everything going done the tubes & their body is shutting down. most of the time, they cant speak. "..under the weight of my regrets, i hope that i will never let you down" -- almost dying, he thinks of all things he has done & should have done. Favorite & best song by Thrice, if I do say so myself. |
