This song is absolutely beautiful. I'd have to say the line that really got me is "There's no disgrace in failing me" I usually see my partners as a direct extension of myself and I felt that if she fails, I fail. Then my psychotherapist friend told me I am asking for a "very tall order" and my goals are so macro that I would see things that way...but through reflection I've come to understand that I should be less opinionated of my other half(seems like common sense right?). Anywho...it's great that the Smashing Pumpkins has reintigrated back into a higher level of being! |
