Haha, I think he mispronounced 'tyranny' in this song... Not that I care, it's amazing all the same. One thing that's always interesting about OM is that they manage to make even a danceable, poppy song sound somewhat sad.

I don`t know why I never picked up on the Chan Marshall bit at the end - it always sounded like Sean to me, but Chan no doubt makes a lot more sense. ;P That being said, I adore this song, particularly the part about the sockhop. Awesome.

I definitely agree. I adore this song. :} And the line "The characters of the Gay Parade formed a boys choir with Static and the Red King" actually does make some sense ... The Red King is a character invented by Elf Power, and on one of the Gay Parade tracks a multitude of Elephant 6 bands sang (Nickee Coco and the Invisible Tree). I believe the "boys choir" is referring to them all singing together. I`m not sure who/what Static is, but I`m taking a guess that it relates to one of the E6 bands that sang in Nickee Coco.
