I like the guitar in BS's version better...yet Cake has the kickass Trumpet work at the end.

The more I listen to this song, the more I believe it's about God/Jesus than about a girl. First of all, when was the last time Cake made a song that actually meant what it sounds like on the surface? The Noah's Ark reference is also key, and the line "You want to be the only one"

And what's up with people like you who hear one song by a group and call them posers. Cake is anything but posers; they're not Fallout Boy or My Chemical Romance. So they took an old song and updated it a bit; now maybe many people will look up the original and fall in love with that version and/or bread. Stop being such a poser yourself. |
