yep he has one more album he is doing and then hangin it up. It's gonna be called "LupEND". That comes from video games and how it says End at the end when you have completed what you came to accomplish. He feels the rap game is beyond saving and that what he is doing isnt reaching to anyone or getting any recognition. Sad but true considering 80% of rap fans would rather hear "laffy taffy" or any kind of "snap music". |

Its suppose to say "Hip hop you saved my life"....It is just suppose to be from the view of the guy who is struggling and trying to make it in Hip Hop. He used Hip Hop as his get away from the streets and the game. |

The virus that Lupe refers to throughout the whole song is the "rap game" and what it has become. He calls it a virus due to what it portrays as "cool" aka the drugs, hustlin, not getting an education etc.
I agree with Soccerman90 that the verse he references is a direct link with everyone else pointing the blame to someone else for the problems we and rap have. |
