to me, it's about controlling your own lives and not falling into the trap of the media and thngs like that. there are always gonna be people telling you what to do, but you have to stand strong, and it's harder when there's only one person, coz you can easily become a sheep. etc. etc. |

it's pretty amazing. i thought i was the only one who thought this was a praise song. coz i definitely sing it to God when i sing it. when i first heard it i thought it was a love song. but i'm pretty sure it's not because there are some lines that really don't make sense for a relationship: e.g:Sing us a song and we'll sing back to you (Sing it back to you) We could sing our own But what would it be without you? you don't tell your lover to sing you a song... etc. etc. to me, it's saying "Lord, guide me and show me what to do and i will fulfil your will." It's saying, we could live our own lives and live for the world, but a life is empty without God. It's about falling down and straying from the path, but finding your way and wanting the Lord to have your heart. if you think about it that way, it really makes alot more sense. |
