MCS is one of the slightly emo bands that i actually like. its because they're not cliche emo at all. they have brilliantly written lyrics, and proven by this song, they have different beliefs than "FUCK DRUGS. BE STRAITEDGE MANNN!!!"
their new album dissapointed me. it had a different producer, and it seems like they are now trying to please the general public more, ya know. |

but yeah i think this is the best song off plans too.
plans is probably the saddest and most poetic dcfc album. its a great peice of work. its like staring at a really interesting and beutiful painting in an art museum...very thought provoking. |

In my opinion, this part gets the whole message of the song across. the rest is just explaining a situtation and giving it more meaning. i agree with pretty much everyone on this. this is a beutifully written song, hands down. i wish i could elaborate more but i just cant find words. |

just thought id say that.
Anyway, this song is about how ben's father was in the armed forces as a kid and teenager, so he ended up traveling alot and having alot of long distance relationships.
