Check out the version by Ellen McIlwaine on iTunes. Acoustic and her voice is all over the place. Legit and mellow. I first heard this song on "Brothers and Sisters." I think the song is about two people realizing they have each other, but that they both need to realize they're there for each other. You know, about the couples that get together because they "always hung out in the same group of friends." |

First things first, this song is legit. There is a CD that Toad put out with five songs on it, four of them acoustic and Fall Down is one of them. I think this song is about people being at the top and eventually coming down. I think "She" is just an example and not speaking of anyone in particular. When the good times never stay And the cheap thrills always seem to fade away These verses say it all. They are saying you can be on top of the world one moment, but then you'll fall down. Interpret it how you want, at the end of the day it's legit! |
