i just cant believe sb actually said he came out of jail, and saw jenny with other guy, DUDE COME ONE! i think it's pretty ovbious that THE GUY KILLED JENNY, and by that i mean JENNY IS DEAD! xD i think coming out of my cage and i've been doing just fine, means that the guy is finally accepting the situation i think the song means he realy fell for a girl, that just likes fooling arroun with lots of guys. so this guy starts wondering, how did this happen? how did he fell like this, if it started only with a kiss and now he's head over hills for this girl, who's just a teaser and he sees her arround with other boys, and it's just killing him, driving him crazy, it's all about jealousy, and what it can make with us, makes us drive crazy, alucinate, and stuff where it says that's the price i pay, i think it means that's what you get when you fall in love with the wrong person and it says that he needs to open his eyes (and see this girl's not worth it, that she's not THE ONE) because he's mr brightside (and what i understand by mr brightside is that he was always a positive person, thinking that she was innocent, and faithfull, but he needs to open his eyes, to see the truth, that the girl's fooling arround!) |

people leave mr brightside where it is, OUT OF THE TRILOGY! the killers have made it very clear the TRIIILOOGY is LTBOTS-MS-JWAFOM, and that's it ! hahah the 'loosing virginity' idea was soo creepy LOL i loved it haha but i think this is the story of MS we all know the guy loved jenny, but he dumped him, and now she's with sb else, but this guy think he still has a chance so he takes her for a ride (that's why the girl is guilty because she was with some other boy now, but she goes out with his ex you know what i mean...) and then the guy kills jenny and throws her body to the ocean i believe in the idea of the 'drive faster boy' that he's talking to himself, i agree on that one |

this is the song that completes the trilogy, but actually it's the first part of it LTBOTS (the reasons of the murder) MS (the murder itself) JWAFOM (after the murder the police are after him) at least that's what the killers said in an interview! i think this song deals a lot with insanity, i mean jenny broke up with him, he's really obsessed, he wants her back, he wont let her go that easy so as he thinks he still may have a chance, he follows her arround, and he see jenny holding hands with another guy, so the guy goes crazy and kills jenny when i listen to the song it makes me feel kind of relieved you know? like the guy's actually glad that he finally got rid of jenny (?) i dont know just my opinion you guys =P |

i think he reeeally loved jenny, but when she wants to break up with him, the guy just goes crazy, and kills her, but when he says " jenny was a friend of mine" i think re REEEEALLY means it, i mean he really trully loved jenny and the whole murder thing was kind of an accident, those situations when things just get out of control, they were having a fight, things got really bad, and the next thing the guys knows is "upss jenny was dead" with this i mean, he didnt really had intentions to kill jenny, it was a mistake, an accident i remember when i went to their concert, brandon instead of "she couldnt scream while i hel her close" he sang " SHE KICKED AND SCREAMED WHILE I HELD HER THROAT". it was awesome! evrytime they perform live this song he says that, i wish the cd version was like that too =P oh and the whole thing about the 25 min mini-movie has been cancelled, too bad =/ |

i think the song is about a father who has cheatead on his wife, and he explains the situation to his son, and kind apologizes too. great song, and i kind of think that even brandon says that he makes up lots of songs, i think made up things HAVE ALWAAAYS a bit of true, or at least that's what i hope, because i really hate his wife tana! LOL |

come on guys this song is sooo not about drugs! i mean brandon is a mormon, and he said that mormons are not suposed to drink, smoke or TAKE DRUGS! and that he gave up smoking on november 22, of 2006 or sth like that i think the song is about a relationship, where he kind of doesnt love her anymore, but he's scared of leaving her,or beeing alone or sth like that, and that's why he says that he'd do anything just to be her man. because although he doesnt love her anymore, he doesnt want to loose her either and i think that when he talks about all the pretty faces, he's talking about all the pretty girls they've seen and met on tour, and everywhere that would do anything for them. and that this girls are maybe the reason that keeps him form touching or f*king his girl. |
