| I think this song is more about telling people in the narrator's life, possibly a girlfriend, that he's not the fantasy that they've built up in their head of what he's supposed to be. He's human and flawed and ugly (like everyone else), and they should stop trying to change him into something else. He just wants to be his ugly human self and not try to fit himself into the image of others. | |
