i think that everyone is totally missing the meaning to the song... they're to busy discussing if it's emo or not :P who cares whatever it is, (real rock if u ask me!) it's AWESOME!!! and i love it completely and i think it means that nothing else in the world matters to him except to be loved. he would rather love than hate... even though he might of been hurt once he still wants to let love in, "take the past burn it up and let it go, i'm stronger than you'll ever know" meaning that he will make it and move on!!! like so many of us need to be reminded of, (after we've been hurt ) that we can move on even if we dont want to. as much as it hurts and as much as u know it can hurt, u still want more. " I want domination I want your submission I see you're not resisting, to this temptation I've got one confession, a love deprivation I've got a jet black heart, thats all fucked up & it's falling apart" and he's also letting everyone know that he's hurt and he wants power and control so he doesnt get hurt again. i think i raved on enough, i cant explain how truly much i love this song!!!and i can't relate to any other song better. i don't fully understand every single lyric in this song, it could be talking about drugs, trying to hide the truth, trying to ignore something u can't, many ppl probably have their own meanings for this song. and i love it, and i love what i "think" it means lol. My fav part is: "Privately divided by a world so undecided And there’s nowhere to go." no one really knows more about everything then anyone else, yet we are all divided like we do know... Everything will always be undecided. if that makes any sense. |
