I think a girl has left him and she hasn't come back when she said she would and he is hung up on her still. I also think the lyrics are: 'seems like every time i call you are out' not around. :) love the song, love the band, not sure which album I like better. |

Could this song possibly be about god? When he sings, It's the kind of thing you get when you're not looking It's the kind of thing you had from the start Could he be saying; when you are lost or confused in life god comes and helps you in some way, by giving you a sign or something? But really he has just been there all along guiding you? And he is saying he could go through death and torture becuase he knows that god is there with him. guiding him I dont know. I am not religious I'm not really sure if religion is even supposed to work like that. |

To furi kurisu, i first thought the same about the line "As I spread her thighs, my life flashes before my eyes...", but then i thought about it again and Jon has written many songs with spiritual sides to then. Could the 'thighs' possibly be the gates to heaven? I dont think that Jon, going by previous songs, would write about something as simple as getting a STD from a women. Or a broken heart. His songs are deep and can be looked at from many different levels. Who would no the truth but him? |
