| Children of Bodom – Oops I did it again Lyrics | 17 years ago |

Gotta say, when I heard this song it was the Britney version...since I've discovered the Bodom version the song makes so much more sense in the meaning... It's about how some women string guys along letting them think that its a serious relationship, But once she has control she's outta there, leaving the guy to pick up the pieces of the reality she helped him to create....anyone gotta brick to shatter reality? peace |

| The Beatles – Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown) Lyrics | 17 years ago |

This song so relates to life right now… I once had a girl Or should I say, she once had me She showed me her room Isn't it good Norwegian wood? -To me this Means, the first two lines are self explanatory. I feel showing him her room means showing him who she is as a person, then him questioning if it is actually her that he’s seeing or just a facade? She asked me to stay and told me sit anywhere So I looked around and I noticed there wasn't a chair -She wants him to stay in her life but she is already involved with someone or something, therefore there is no chair for him to sit down and stay to get comfortable. I sat on a rug, biding my time Drinking her wine We talked until two, and then she said: "It's time for bed," -He sat on the carpet, because he felt that she is worth sticking around for. He is waiting for when she was ready to move forward with the relationship. They talked until two because they get along well, When she says its time for bed I think this means that she wants to just sleep with him because she cant do anything that would continue the relationship further because she is already involved. She told me she worked in the morning and started to laugh I told her I didn't, and crawled off to sleep in the bath -She told him she works in the morning as an excuse to either get him to leave or sleep with her, per say. He chooses neither and sleeps in the bath because he doesn’t want to sleep with her and he didn’t want to leave. He simply wanted to be with her, wherever that went he was prepared for. And when I awoke, I was alone This bird has flown So I lit a fire Isn't it good Norwegian wood? -When he woke up she was gone, nowhere to be found. She had flown the coup either for the other relationship or whatever else was going, So he lit a fire to destroy everything he felt for her to save himself the hurt, to let go of her, then he questions her motives/intentions. I could be wrong but that’s how I’m seeing this song as it relates to me. |
