ya know ryan - videos are often the concept of the video producer rather than a reflection of what was in the writters head when he wrote it.... And thanks to Wonderdog and TGFM - I totally believe it's just a ref to the Band "the men they couldn't hang" since a) we don't hang folks in canada, and b) it's the MEN not MAN they couldn't hang. Good god. Why do so many post lyrics as though they are the final authority. I took your LIPS at the time? That's so stupid it makes me angry. Licks. Licks at the time. For the vocab challenged that does not have anything to do with the tongue. If you have the liner notes and the real lyrics - you should SAY so when posting -referencing a source is the only thing that will set you apart from all the emphatic, and often-wrong, opinion-staters. I for one will thank you as I would really like to know that actual words not a lot of crap. Oh and "the stars are leaking out" wtf does that mean? Try: ...hide your resentment.....but it starts to leaking out... |
