| Radiohead – Creep Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This song isn't very deep or hard to understand, but I think EVERYONE can relate to it somehow. And that's what make it so fuckin' great! :D | |
| Oh Alexandra – Sonny Moore Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
This song, i must say, is both awesome, clever... and really really sick... I mean, I love Sonny but still I found the lyrics very funny. On the other hand I think Sonny has a quite hard time these days even without someone writing a hate song for him. But I think this song has another message than just "I hate sonny", i think it's about all those fashioncore kids or "emos" if you wish. Not like it's a "I hate emo song", but more like some peoples are overdoing it a bit. Just look at all those kids wearing black clothes and claiming that "they're life sucks" and then they cut their arms just to get some attention and look "cool". Cutting yourself is NOT cool, i can understand why some people are doing it (peoples who really are depressed) but all those wannabes are just pathetic! I think this song is more about all those "fake" peoples, and peoples who only care about how they look and they think having a cool picture at myspace is the most important thing in the world ('clean your bathroom mirror, so your myspace pictures turn out clearer), and then they use photoshop to make it even better ('use photoshop one-on-one, takes the ugly away') The phrase "nothing a little surgery can't fix" is obviously talking about this too. But, of course we can't get away from the fact that oh alexandra hates sonny moore, which is really sad for her... |

| Bring Me the Horizon – Who Wants Flowers When You're Dead? Nobody Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Yes, Holden Caulfield, which is the main character in Cathcher in the Rye, is thinking to himself "Who want's flower when you're dead?" when he's thinking about his dead grandpa and how he and his family always go to the churchyard to set flowers on his grave. That you probably get better care when you're dead then when you're alive. And then he's thinking that he'd rather like to get burned to ash when he is dead, and then thrown away in the river so that nobody have to set flower on HIS grave. He also feels sorry for his grandpa because he have to stay out in the churchyard when it's raining (it's been raining there a lot when he's been visiting his grave) So that's how it relates to it... I don't really get what the whole song is about, but yes it's obviously saying that we're all gonna die anyway, and a picture will last longer than our lifes ('take a picture it will last longer') |

| Green Day – Who Wrote Holden Caulfield? Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I'm reading Catcher in the Rye right now actually, the reason I bought was because of this song, you see I thought to myself "Green day singing about a book? A book?! It gotta be fuckin awesome!" and then I also saw some other song songs that relates to it, dunno if you have heard it, anyway Bring me the Horizon have a song called "Who want's flower when you're dead? Nobody." which Holden is saying in the book when he's thinking about his grandpa or something. Well, I haven't finished the book yet, but I love it this far. There isn't really that much going on in it, but I love the way it's written and Holdens personilaty is just incredible, even if he's a bit of a sad person, he really makes you laugh! And that Billie Joe is refering to him doesn't really make it worse.. |

| Kent – Din Skugga Lyrics | 18 years ago |

In english: I remember a dream about snow It's hard to see you like a piece of glass in a pool of water that froze I'm waiting outside to see you I need your cold now need your cool skin I become your shadow I become the one you never see Let me be your shadow I hurt the ones who smile at you, your shadow I become eyes on your back Let me be your shadow and you be mine I remember a dream about snow inside the collar like snowballs in the hands that froze I'm waiting outside to see you I need your cold now need your cool skin I become your shadow I become your shadow I become the one you never see Let me be your shadow I hurt the ones who smile at you, your shadow I become eyes on your back Let me be your shadow and you be mine (this is not an official translation) |

| Coldplay – Beautiful World Lyrics | 18 years ago |

i don't really get what the verse means, but i think the main theme of this song is that we have a beautiful word and we should be happy for it. "all that i know is nothing to run from, cause yeah everybody got's somebody to lean on" probably means that there's nothing to be ashame of and we all have someone we can trust and get advice by. |

| Coldplay – The Scientist Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| well, i guess it's not very hard to figure out what this song's all about, a relationship is brokened and now he's dreaming about how it was and want it to come back. But though it's a bit simple (i'm not saying that love is simple, ofc!) it's like the best ever and and i think anyone could relate to it somehow. I love where he sing "You don't know how lovely you are", cause that's really how it can feel sometimes, you really love someone but you don't know how to show it. this was my first comment btw :) | |
