disturbedchic is right, just because they are a Christian band, doesn't mean they have to write songs about God. This song could be read in 2 ways: The Christian way is that the writer of the song is personifying sin as a girl, the addictive nature of sin and the struggles of temptations in Christian life. While the non-Christian way of reading the song is as Crownedhopeless called it. A love song, but I think the writer could be referring to another girl that has hurt him before rather than the girl mentioned in the song. either way, great band =D |

Very nice song, i love all of angus and julia's songs =D That bit that's missing is a song that i learnt at a camp, it is as follows: Old McTavis is dead, and his brother don't know it, and his brother is dead, and McTavis don't know it and they're both lying dead, and they're in the in the same bed, neither one knows that the other is dead hoped that helped |

i agree with princeofgrime, stop arguing, music is be enjoyed and it's very upsetting to see people hating a song coz it's this genre or that genre. hu gives a damn, wat matters is the music and lyrics itself or if u enjoy or feel connected to the song, not the genre it is. people should stop judging other people and other genres and start looking around, where did this music that we listen to now come from? they all came from the same place, and artist do covers of songs because they admire a song, so if the vines can admire outkast's song, y can't everyone else? and outkast let them do a cover coz they no the vines will do it justice, so y dont u give the vines a chance? music should bring people closer not tear us apart. i find it stupid how people can agrue about sumthing so insignifcant! (sorry but this war over genre especially rock and urban has jus gone on for far enough for me, it annoys me that i can't show people my music because they have presumtions bout it and it's all because of u shallow people that CANT enjoy and appreciate MUSIC AS A WHOLE!) |

"Yes yeah we’re moving on looking for direction, mmm we’ve covered much ground" i think his talking about the relationship, that they have gone through a lot and they are still moving forward, but dont know where they are moving to. "Thinking back to innocence I can no longer connect" i see this as talking about that the relationship is now matured and that he can not connect back to the way things were when they were innocently in love. "I don’t have a heart left to throw around" i agree with Kahlia that he has no heart to give to others, but i believe that it's not because he got hurt in that relationship, but becuase he doesn't want to be in any another relationships. I also think the "red tail lights" are refering to the time, as in the time that he has missed and had passed him by. that's all i have to say... beautiful song either way =D loved it the first time i heard it and he sang it live on the australia day celebrations, just beautiful |
