This is just my opinion, but I think this song is about a break up. I think the person it's about is like a heartbreaker, for lack of a better term. just someone that makes people fall for them a lot "i'm only asking if you remember, remember" The person that wrote this and the subject of the song were seeing eachother or dating, then something went wrong and the person he was seeing hurt him and moved on, and even forgotten in a way what they had, even though he himself is still trying to get over this person "I've been trying to get back to the center, i'm sure it's not like it was before" I think he still really wants to maintain at least a friendship with the person that hurt him, but it's difficult for him now and the fact that he knows things are never going to be the same only makes the situation worse Maybe i'm reading too personally into the lyrics and my explanation makes no sense, but that's my interpretation of it either way, i love this song haha |
