I agree on this song sounding like it's about the Diablo games. I pretty much agree with the above posted break-down of how the lyrics relate to it, but I think the verse "Caught in an old cage the system failed built up on lies now I see that I'm alone in asylum's cage I'm left alone" refers to in the second game, how Deckard Cain is stuck in the old cage in Tristram, and how being alone with just the demons there would be like being in an asylum. I don't know. Just a thought. |
