I second that... This song is amazing. To me this song is about getting through the dark times, healing, and facing your past, fears and who you are, who you were, and what you have done. |

I have no clue what this song is about... Given the title I'm guessing it has something to do with them making music :D I just wanted to add a comment to say that this song is amazing and it doesn't have enough comments (that it rightfully deserves) ... So I'll add one more :D |

| Lil' Wayne – Lollipop Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I hate this song.... You hear it all over the radio (my sister listens to KIIS... Though I hate it) the girl in this song is no more than a sex object to him. Its so degrading to women and it makes adolescent boys think that treating women like sex objects is "cool". And wtf? No homo... What's wrong with people that like the same sex?!?!? I think there is nothing wrong with loving someone no matter what gender they are.... They are people to and in saying "no homo" will be the same thing as saying "no niggas or no whiteys" its discrimination again the gay community. This song is the most idiotic and is full of crap anyone could have written this pile of shit!!! Not only that but he is so obnoxious and pretentious and I doubt his sperm is so "sweet" you wanna like the condom or "wrapper"... He has a "poopdick"hahaha | |

| Yeah Yeah Yeahs – Modern Things Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
Don't hate me if my meaning isn't what the "real" meaning is but this is just what I think... Okay so I think that basically she's talking about the modern world and how people don't really care to get to know people and care more about "modern things" like politics or stupid crap the first line "did you find a boy that you meant to destroy, did you feel him" reminds me of either someone talking revenge on someone or someone dating a guy to use them and is about to dump them and they don't care about how he feels, like they don't "feel him" the next line reminds me of the "freaks" (so to speak) like the "red-eyed girl" but know one "feels her" like gets to know her or they only see one side to her and she's saying that they should treat her like a person because she has feeling and the "maybe she cries in the middle of the night" "did you feel her" can refer to anyone, like do you see what goes on behind her eyes? And did you feel what she is/was going through? And knowing how people are treated in these "modern" times gets her "swamped" and makes her "sweat" I think the "modern things don't die, they just stain" means that modern things and the pains they cause will never go away or be forgotten they will always be with like a scar that "stains" you. And I think the "well say you feel nice to break the ice, I'm ready" and "now say the word I never heard, I'm ready" means cut the "modern" love games that some people say and "break the ice" and say I LOVE YOU! And the "makes me strong, makes me strive, when I hear her" I think it means it makes her strong and makes her want to strive when she hears her "cry in the middle of the night" but still they don't know what goes on behind those eyes. And I think the "try me out see what I'm all about and we can make some noise not like the other boys" and "you can hold me tight on a motor bike and we could make some noise, yeah we could do this right" is about getting to know the the "narrator" (so to speak) and breaking away from "modern things" and not being like the "other boys" and "making some noise" and living life to the fullest no boundaries. Sorry I know its kind of long. |

| Charles Manson – Cease to exist Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Charlie Manson had a very screwed up childhood... His mother was an alcoholic who pretty much disowned him and he was in jail from 12 to 20.... He wanted a career as a musician and was turned down... A life of disapointments and self pity probably made him very angry so he went crazy... He is very smart though just has a screwed up mind.... He took in the unwanted and gave them a home and yes he told them to kill all those people... But he wasn't at the house where the tate murders were committed (at the time of the murders) so he wouldn't have heard the pregnant actress begging... So don't hold him responsible for that specific thing (saying that the woman was begging and he still killed her) yes he indirectly (not physically... I mean) killed them all but he wasn't there. I have read some of his quotes and I believe a lot of what he says is genius and true.... Humans are destroying everything..... Presidents are sending troops to war knowing lots of them will die... But are they blamed for there deaths (though they indirectly caused them)... Most people support the killing of animals (me not being one... I'm vegan) because "they taste good" I know its not the same animals and humans... But technically speaking humans are animals and animals feel pain like any of us and think and communicate... So are we really that different (other than evolution and our physical bodies) Anyway, sorry for straying away from the topic I just feel very passionate about animal rights.... I don't blame charles manson entirely for the crimes because he is insane he did very bad things and no one can say the crimes weren't his fault (part) but he is a genius and I believe if he grew up in a better environment things would have been different. | |
