ooo now im intimidated because he actually wrote something haha. to ME the most interesting part about this song is": "Cause' I can see for miles when the sun is up, but it's midnight and I can't see at all." because its so true. During the daytime its easier to step back and realize that things aren't working out but when it gets dark its harder to to have that same clearheaded strength. |

To me it deals with depression and suppressing emotions to appease other people. Pretending like everything is fine, constantly editing your words and actions to make it seem like youre okay but in reality all you want to do is break down and let everyone know how crappy everything is. Its about getting through life one day at a time. I think it could also tie into coming out and having to deal with everything that comes with that. "so what i lied? i lied to me to" meaning "yea okay i didnt tell you but i was also denying it to myself too" |
