This has always been one of my favorite .moneen songs. As to the the talking at the end of the track, Tonight, Im Gone is from the album, The Theory Of Harmonic Value. The long-winded monologue is a man explaining his journey uncovering and quantifying his Theory of Harmonic Value. The whole thing is basically why the album is named that. He had a daughter He hoped to live through Four years old, ten years reach to this girl The way I read this, is that the man has a 4 yr old daughter, and he wants her to grow up safely, so that when shes older he can live through her, like the way that parents revel in their childs accomplishments, and they feel in a way as if they suceeded because their children did. At the moment shes too young for him to really live through her, because shes too busy being a kid. |
