Maybe if you check out who Anne Hardy is.. I mean, I think that the last part of the song, unecessary obviously, is just...anne saying the shit she wanted. And chino thought it was funny as hell. Sorry all the british people but I thought it was funny too xD just don't take it seriously. And i really don't think it was like the "meant to be" theory. |

I think it relates a story! She first feels atracted to him, not a deep thing (Your flirt finds me out, teases the crack in me), that makes her to think that the relaction could have some future (Smittens me with hope). she, who has hope, begins to doubt if it can become love (possibly maybe probably love). They begin to talk to each other, meeting each other, and he's interested (As much as I definitely enjoy solitude, I wouldn't mind perhaps spending little time with you) Then they began this sexual relationship where there's no rules, is a new thing, unexpected to her (uncertainty excites me) The relationship begins to mess up with her life, but still, she is enjoying it (you're eruptions and disasters I keep calm, admiring the lava) Later, she begins to realise that sex is just not enough (i think electric shocks are really orgasms). And she leaves him, because he can't give more than sex. And that's why Bjork said it was a sad song. |
