The music video for this song is terrific. The simple but amazing camera work is simply breathtaking. So far I've interpreted: He realizes what love means to him. What every day means to him through this new perspective in life. He thanks his girlfriend for opening the window. He can see clearly now and sees he was hiding in the dark, in essence hiding from love. Nothing can change how he feels about her. ( the reference of banging a gong ) He then asks her to sing with him at the end of the song. Asking her to spend the rest of her life with him. I Love This Long. |
