| This song is basically him giving in to all the fans of his old stuff who only want him to make metal. He changed his life and has mellowed at least a little bit with age, but some people still just wanted the insane metal stuff. So here he prepares himself to throw away all the changes he's made, basically saying "FINE, YOU FUCKING WANT METAL??! HERE'S YOUR FUCKING METAL!!!" ...and drifts back into his previous lifestyle (if only for this album). | |

^^^I'm the same way - I listen to this a lot while working out, I get a feeling of "killing my current self" and replacing it, to be overly introspective and pompous. The "Gimme That" thing is just the usual Type O goofiness to go alongside the morbid stuff. |

The first Misfits song I ever heard, and it hooked me instantly. Probably still my favorite, too. The chorus drives me nuts. I'm just about positive what is listed above isn't correct, and what was printed in the box set (which was based on fans' input) I'm not so sure is correct either. The box set says "she loves naked sin - he loves evil sex." To me it really sounds like "she loves naked sin/sex - kill that evil man" (which would reference the "machine gun in her hand" part at the beginning). Obviously I don't know for sure, just throwing it out there. |
