hmmm, sufjan had some descriptions for all of the michigan outtakes and when you look at the lines, "it's not your fault" and "take it in stride", it makes sense: "My sister taught at a small school in Wolverine, Michigan, where it was popular to for teenage girls to get pregnant. They brought their children to school and showed them off like letters on varsity jackets." |
