damn good comment... more on Satchidananda though.. he WAS a big guru guy from india, etc, but he caused alot of controversy, because he wore a watch and drove a car, etc. so there was alot of sceptecism surrounding his practices. however, he went on to lead alot of people, Alice Coltrane, Allen Ginsberg, Jeff Goldblum, Carole King, etc. and opened the Light of Truth Universal Shrine, in Yogaville, Buckingham, Virginia. basically he was a really cool dude. yeah |

i think the lyric is " oh that shit's made your head spin around" i'm pretty sure this song s about heroin. and i think it IS "life's one big circle, it does end, when it ends will you still be my friend" i think it's about doing alot of downers, then waking up and being like "oh shit, what've i done?" and wondering whether your friends will stick with you even though yuou fucked up. i think this part: "I've had the same jeans on for four days now I'm gonna go to a disco in the middle of the town Everybody's dressing up I'm dressing down" is about not really being able to function well in social situations, because you've let yourself go, and just don't really want to be around anyone, and no one wants to be around you. |

umm...i think it's just making fun of pretentious people. i can't imagine any other proper justification for the line "i heart my art" also they're saying "my work's won kiddie competitions" much like many pretentious people who are all like "well, i'm obviously better than you, pecause i was in so & so magazine, i mean yeah, it was when i was 9, but still, i am sooooo cool". and then they say: "grown up, want only child attention" which is a pretty perfect desription of the mentality of all those pretentious 20somethings that grew up in such sheltered environment, they don't know how to deal with the worl, and just push everyone away by being such a snob. also, they talk in french, and all the pretentious kids where i'm from are always like: "oh look i can say this in french, i totally tought myself. wow, watch me like, french inhale my cigarette. wow, i am so cool and french." |
