This is the highest form of music I have ever listened too. I don't know how they do it. I get exhausted just playing this on the air-guitar. The chorus is sung in a way which naturally makes me happy. Every time I have it on, I have to replay it at least 6 times. The lyrics are hard to analyze for me, but somehow, they give me tingles. |

I'm not saying Linkin Park would write something like what I'm about to say, but my guess was
the "Shadow Of The Day" is night. You sleep at night, sleep might mean more like death.
The first verse is about how you can't trust anyone and you can't believe in anything.
The second verse is about how you can't always have things go your way.
The chorus means that it doesn't matter because you are going to die someday and everything will be over. |
