if youve actually watched this movie or read real interpretations you would no what this song is about. its not about drugs (although pink was on heroine in the movie duuring this song) or not really about mental illness... its about doing things to build up a mental wall in your head to stop you from experiencing pain and in turn experiencing life

when it says "im not like them but i can pretend" i dont think its about not fitting in but actually having a mental illness and watchin so called "normal people walk around you.
"the sun is gone but i see a light" is either about finding hope while your depressed or finding god.
"I think i'm dumb or maybe just happy" means he's not used to the feeling of happiness so when he experiences it he doesnt know what to make of it. |
